The world-wide phenomenon, ABBAsolutely fABBAulous – TheABBAshow, will be showing this March at the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema.
The Show is a full scale production, featuring two and a half hours of live musical performance in the spirit of authentically recreating ABBA’s greatest hits.
ABBAsolutely fABBAulous is made up of internationally acclaimed impersonators, having performed in over 3200 concerts in 23 countries so far.
Countless hours are spent to achieve the attention to detail the show is renowned for, with a live backing band, replica costumes, theatrical lighting and effects adding to the experience.
Mayor Camilo Blanco said the show was an opportunity for locals to experience a live performance of an international calibre.
“TheABBAshow celebrates one of the most successful music acts in history, a group credited with up to 500 million record sales.
“This is not just another cover band: they are well known for their superb harmonies, great musicianship and realistic mannerisms.
“I’m sure many people grew up listening to the original hits from 1974 to 1982, as well as watching their winning performance at Eurovision in 1974.
“The evening is an opportunity to introduce a new generation to the magic of ABBA, as the show is suitable for all ages.
“I hope as many people as possible can come along on Monday, 18 March at 8.00pm to witness the spectacle and relive some of the greatest moments in pop music history.”
