Have a Try night will return in ten days on Friday 13 March from 4:15pm to 6:15pm at Wanangkura Stadium, a highly anticipated free event on the Hedland calendar for young people ages 5 to 17.
The event gives attendees the opportunity to try out a number of different sports which run across Hedland, introducing them to a range of options to develop an active and healthy lifestyle.
Popular sports include soccer, rugby league, cricket, basketball, netball and golf.
The event is a prime opportunity for clubs to raise awareness of their activities and drive membership numbers.
Recommended attire for participants includes closed-toe shoes and active wear suitable for sports.
Parents and carers are recommended to pre-register their children online to avoid the queue. More information can be found on the Town website.
This event is run in conjunction with the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries.
