Free showerheads available to reduce water use

Published on Monday, 14 October 2019 at 12:00:26 PM

The Town of Port Hedland has partnered with Watercorp to reduce the Town’s consumption of water.

As part of this, residents are eligible for a free showerhead and can pick up the equipment at the Civic Centre from today.

To receive a new showerhead, people must bring in their old shower head and a copy of a recent bill.

Residents can swap up to two old, inefficient models for free and the Town will dispose of your old showerhead.

For more information on the program and the full terms and conditions please go to the Water Corporation’s Showerhead Swap Program page.

The program will run until the end of May 2020.
