Free entry for under 16s at South Hedland Aquatic Centre

Published on Thursday, 17 December 2020 at 12:45:08 PM

From Friday 18 December until Sunday 31 January, under 16 year olds will be able to enter the South Hedland Aquatic Centre for free from 12pm to 3pm, every day!

Normal pool rules will apply and the Watch Around Water policy will be maintained at all times. All children under 10 years must be supervised by a person 16 years and over.

Mayor Peter Carter said the Town wanted to provide a free way for young ones to cool off during the Pilbara Summer.

“It’s a fantastic Summer deal to get excited about: we’re giving under 16s free entry to the South Hedland Aquatic Centre from Friday 18 December until Sunday 31 January, 12pm to 3pm every day!

“With school holidays upon us, mark your calendars for 12pm to 3pm for some afternoon fun every day to take up this exceptional offer.”

To help Hedland stay COVID safe, please maintain social distancing at all times, cover coughs and sneezes with an elbow, keep hands washed and sanitised and do not attend the facility if you’re unwell.
