Get your best pink outfit ready for the ninth annual Port Hedland Mother’s Day Classic event.
This year’s Mother’s Day Classic walk/run will be held on Sunday, 12 May at the Civic Centre Garden’s.
Walk, run, fundraise, donate or volunteer to help make a difference this Mother’s Day.
Port Hedland is one of close to 100 locations to hold a Mother’s Day Classic Event across Australia.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Town of Port Hedland Mayor Camilo Blanco encourages everyone to get involved in the event.
“This event helps raise funds and awareness for a cause that affects so many people throughout Australia.”
“Registrations are now open for the event and I encourage all community members to take part, whether it be to walk/run, volunteer, donate or fundraise.
“All ages and all levels of fitness are encouraged to get involved.
“Event day registrations will be open at 6:30 am, with formalities for the morning kicking off at 7:30 am.
“I would like to thank all the sponsors who make the Hedland Mother’s Day Classic event possible, particularly, Horizon Power, Western Power Solutions, and Sentinel Property Group (Port Hedland Boulevard).”
