Welcome to Hedland will return to the South Hedland Town Square in 2021 after taking place as a digital event in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will take place on Friday 28 May from 5pm through to 8pm.
Welcome to Hedland is one of the Town’s premier community events that is thoroughly enjoyed by the community and is great for those who have recently come to town.
The event features local government services, fundraising opportunities, business and market stalls, family fun activities and entertainment.
It’s a great opportunity for all community members new and old to discover what Hedland has to offer, right down to the grassroots.
Mayor Peter Carter is excited to see the event return to South Hedland after a challenging 2020.

“There will be some great entertainment on offer from local community members and community groups.
