Multiple ARIA Award winning artist, Dan Sultan, will be bringing his Aviary Takes Tour to the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema on Friday 5 April at 7.30pm.
Dan is the winner of the 2010 ARIA Awards for Best Male Artist and Best Blues and Roots Album, and the 2014 ARIA Award for Best Rock Album.
His independent streak as a live performing artist has seen him tour around Australia in both metropolitan and regional centres, cementing his place as an esteemed musician.
Mayor Camilo Blanco encouraged residents to come along to the Aviary Takes Tour Show in April.
“Once again, the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema has brought an acclaimed Australian artist to Hedland for locals to enjoy.
“Well known for a musical repertoire grounded in roots and alternative rock, Dan brings a unique and world class sound to his audience.
“As recently as 2017, Dan was nominated for three ARIA Awards for Best Male Artists, Best Rock Album and Best Independent Release, pointing to his success.
“I hope as many people as possible get the chance to see Dan at the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema.”
