Name the Turtle Sculpture at Cemetery Beach Park

As part of the reopening of Cemetery Beach playground in Port Hedland, the Town installed a turtle sculpture to celebrate the occasion. However, we need a name for the turtle before the official reopening on Saturday 15 February!

What are the name options?

We asked for public submissions and then narrowed these down to the top 5, which are now open for voting. Below are the names:

Ngartapirri This is Karriyarra for 'turtle'. The Kariyarra, Ngarla and Nyamal people are the traditional custodians for the Port Hedland lands.
Turtie McTurtle Face For just a bit of fun!
Kelly In recognition of passionate Hedland local, Kelly Howlett, who served as Port Hedland Mayor and is the founder of the Care for Hedland Environmental Association. Kelly has been instrumental in raising awareness of protecting Hedland's flatback turtle population.
Merv Merv Stanton was a long term local Hedland resident who recently passed away.
Myrtle Rhymes with turtle
