These school holidays we have teamed up with Care for Hedland for a fun and interactive community art project which is perfect for kids and families, celebrating our terrific turtles! Visit Turtle Town between 10am and 2pm from Monday 27 September to design your very own turtle to go on display at Port Hedland Boulevard and learn all about the Flatback Turtles that nest along our coastline with Care for Hedland. Along with the DIY turtle which will go on display within our centre, you can also enjoy activities which can be taken home such as stained glass fish, and wooden sea creature craft. And while you're here, you can even pick up some merch or get involved in Care for Hedland's Turtle Monitoring Season for this year!
