Turtle Monitoring - Volunteer Program
It's that time of year again!
The Port Hedland's Flatback turtle population is nesting on our beaches and we'd love to see local residents helping out with the Care for Hedland turtle monitoring program.
Two training sessions will be run to get familiar with how the data collection works. No prior experience is necessary - just bring a willingness to learn and your love of marine life!
Location: Gateway Village, South Hedland
Saturday 26 October 10am - 2pm
Sunday 27 October 8am - 9am
All training materials and refreshments provided. Bring friends, family and turtle enthusiasts!
