Satellite Boy (2012) | PG | Drama, Family & Adventure

Synopsis: Ten-year-old Pete lives with his grandfather in an old abandoned outdoor cinema in the desert. When the old drive-in is threatened with demolition by developers, Pete and a friend set off on an epic journey in the hopes of saving his home. Satellite Boy is a heart-warming tale of one boy's determination to protect the place he calls home. During the story, Pete realises that his cultural roots mean far more to him than he ever imagined.

In 2013, Satellite Boy earned Best Film and Best Sound nominations for the AACTA Awards, given by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts. At the Berlin International Film Festival, the film won the Crystal Bear Special Mention Award for Best Film
