Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Consultation Forum

The Town of Port Hedland presents the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Consultation Forum. 

Community members are invited to build partnerships and contribute to the conversation. 

At the September forum, we started mapping services provided in Hedland against the Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage (OID) Indicators and the Closing the Gap Targets. This forum will focus on two of the OID indictors:

  1.  Early Childhood Development
  2. Education and Training

Agencies and groups with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff members are encourage to appoint these employees to represent them at the Forum where possible.
