Plant Operator Labourer Waste Operations

$72,914.40 pro rata per annum (including Port Hedland Allowance)

The Role

This position will be a crucial part of the landfill waste team and will work closely with all staff members at the landfill as well as the general public and contractors. The role will involve operating heavy plant and machinery to aid in the disposal of waste materials, weighbridge operations and general labour works around site. Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in waste landfill operations or previous experience in relevant plant and equipment. 

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Previous experience in operation of medium to large sized mechanical plant (Bulldozer, Excavator, Loader, Compactor or Watercart)
  • Previous experience working with a weighbridge
  • Current ‘C’ drivers licence
  • White card
