The Role

This is a permanent full-time position based at our depot in Wedgefield. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will provide mechanical servicing to all business units of the Town of Port Hedland.

The Town is willing to offer casual employment to suitable candidates who wish to be engaged on a casual basis

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • Extensive experience in light and heavy machinery maintenance operations
  • HR class manual driver’s license
  • White Card
  • Forklift ticket
  • National Police Clearance
  • Rights to work in Australia
