The Role

The Town of Port Hedland is currently taking expressions of interest from reliable and motivated individuals to join our Port Hedland Waste Operations team. The successful applicants will be expected to operate as effective team members, assisting in machine operation and labour functions for our Town of Port Hedland landfill and sweeping services.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • National Police Clearance
  • Current ‘HR’ class driver’s license
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccinations or exemption
