The Role
The Town are looking for Casual Umpires to officiate sporting
events, games and competitions fairly and safely, in line with
industry best practice and the Town of Port Hedland’s Code of
Conduct. We would love to hear from you if you are passionate and
experienced in the following social sports: netball, volleyball,
futsal and basketball.
This position will require you to work weekday evenings.
Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a
pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be
considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Comprehensive understanding of the rules and bylaws of your
preferred Social Sport
- National Police Clearance
- Working with children check
- Rights to work in Australia
- Umpiring qualification and First Aid Certificate are
desirable but not essential
