Casual hourly rate of $34.21 (inclusive of casual loading)

The Town of Port Hedland is looking for someone who is passionate about child care with demonstrated experience in delivering children’s programs and assisting in the day to day running of the crèche. The successful candidate will have strong time management and organisational skills, with great initiative and works well in a team environment.

This is an open casual recruitment pool. The panel will regularly monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess any applications received on a regular basis from which appointments may be made when casual vacancies arise.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Current National (or Federal) Police Clearance
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
