The Role

The Town of Port Hedland is currently taking expressions of interest from reliable and motivated individuals to join our Port Hedland Leisure team. The successful applicants will be expected to operate as effective team members assisting in operational activities within our Port Hedland Leisure – swimming pools facilities.

This is an open casual recruitment pool. The panel will regularly monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess any applications received on a regular basis from which appointments may be made when casual vacancies arise.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Hold a current Apply First Aid certificate
  • Hold a current RLSS Pool Lifeguard certificate or equivalent
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
