The Town of Port Hedland is currently offering the opportunity for a suitably experienced and motivated Coordinator Works & Services to coordinate the construction and maintenance activities of our works team. The successful applicant will be expected to ensure the safe delivery of minor construction projects and maintenance activities, including but not limited to drainage, roads, footpaths and cemetery operations.

The person we are looking for will have extensive experience in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management with minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Our ideal candidate will have a proven record in managing a team within the engineering/construction sector with strong leadership and organisational skills.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication abilities together with sound contract management experience.

The position will be based in Port Hedland, a town of rich heritage, spectacular landscapes, friendliness, a diverse and embracing community and relaxed lifestyle. As the largest bulk export port in the world, the town is home to global resource leaders and is significant to the national interest.
