We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who has previous experience in transformational HR initiatives. You will be ambitious and driven, with impeccable relationship-building skills and are excited by a challenge. You have strong consulting and influencing skills at the Senior Leadership Level with the ability to build trusted relationships where you are considered a credible business partner. You can carefully balance both the business and the individual’s interests and are not afraid to challenge leaders when required. You are strategic in your thinking but people-focused in your execution, and you have the ability to take the organisation on a journey through positive transformation.  Above all, you approach every situation with pragmatism, integrity, quality and authenticity.

The Senior HR Business Partner role is fundamental to the establishment of the HR team as a valued support to the organisation. This is a true generalist business partner role and the successful candidate will have experience across the spectrum of HR/ ER/ IR.

If you have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, extensive knowledge of contemporary HR practices and processes, ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, policy and procedures and provide advice to employees and management and a proven ability to work under pressure we want to hear from you.

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, industrial relations or similar, along with extensive demonstrated experience
  • Current ’C’ class drivers licence
  • Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance
