The Town is currently offering the opportunity for a suitably experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of infrastructure projects through the provision of sound financial management, engineering innovation, leadership and exceptional communication skills. This position is based in Port Hedland, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The position requires the management of a talented team while ensuring that all assigned projects are delivered according to design, and within the agreed scope, program, quality and budget.

Position Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • An appropriate degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management or extensive demonstrated experience
  • Current ‘C’ class drivers licence
  • Experience in the Project Management and delivery of infrastructure projects
  • Experience and knowledge in best practice Building Construction and associated civil works
  • A Construction Industry White Card (OHS)
  • A National (or Federal) Police Clearance no more than 6 months’ old
