Scheme amendments generally involve rezoning or changes to the permissible use of land in particular zones, streets or specific areas. Proposed or finalised scheme amendments may affect the requirements of your proposed development.

Proposed Scheme Amendment No. 70

To Rezone Lot 1227 (13) Keesing Street from 'Community' and 'Residential R50' to 'Mixed Business'. Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 25 February 2015. Any submission may be made publicly available, and accordingly should indicate if the submitter requests to remain confidential.

Proposed Scheme Amendment No. 71

Extension of the Boodarie Strategic Industrial Area on Lot 500 (203) Great Northern Highway, Boodarie. Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 28 January 2015. Any submission may be made publicly available, and accordingly should indicate if the submitter requests to remain confidential.

Proposed Scheme Amendment No. 72

To Rezone Lot 3581 Yanderra Crescent from "Reserve - Parks and Recreation" to "Residential R30". Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 19 November 2014. Any submission may be made publicly available, and accordingly should indicate if the submitter requests to remain confidential.

Proposed Scheme Amendment No. 73

To Rezone a portion of Lot 5991 Cottier Drive South Hedland from ‘Parks and Recreation’ Reserve and ‘Residential R20’ to “Residential R40’. Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 17 December 2014. Any submission may be made publicly available, and accordingly should indicate if the submitter requests to remain confidential.

Proposed Scheme Amendment No. 75

To Rezone Part Lot 550 Hedditch Street, South Hedland from 'Community' to 'Mixed Business'. Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 14 January 2015. Any submission may be made publicly available, and accordingly should indicate if the submitter requests to remain confidential.

Proposed Scheme Amendment No. 76

To Rezone Lots 570-572 and 574 Murdoch Drive from Rural to Urban Development and removal of R20 Designation from Lot 9001 Murdoch Drive. Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 09 September 2015. Any submission may be made publicly available, and accordingly should indicate if the submitter requests to remain confidential.

Proposed Scheme Amendment 77

To Rezone Land Bound By Styles Road, Cooke Point Drive, Pretty Pool Creek and Pretty Pool Residential Area from 'Rural', 'Parks and Recreation' and 'Other Public Purposes - Energy' to 'Urban Development'. Comments / submissions can be made to the Town in writing on or before the close of business Wednesday 21 October 2015.
