Notice of public advertisement of planning proposal - Stage 1 South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub (SHISH) - Lot 300 Hamilton Road, South Hedland
The Town has received an application for development approval for Stage 1 of the South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub at the above-mentioned property. Stage 1 of the proposal includes:
- Diamond baseball field and batting cages.
- Relocating Kevin Scott Oval, to the Western End of Wanangkura Stadium, as well as a new ALF standard oval.
- Nature playground area.
- A new multi-user sporting pavilion with changerooms, clubrooms, function facilities and umpire and tournament rooms.
- Exercise node.
- Landscaping and civil works, including carparks, bus stops, access roads and the upgrade of the intersection of Hamilton Road and North Circular Road, across the site.

Business Case for Major Land Transaction
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Port Hedland (Town) proposes to enter a major land transaction.
The Town proposes to acquire and dispose of the following parcels of land:
- Portion of Lot 601 of Deposited Plan 71984 Crown Land Certificate of Title Volume LR3161 Folio 581;
- Lot 300 on Deposited Plan 71522 Crown Land Certificate of Title Volume LR3160 Folio 875;
- Portion of Crown Land comprising P Road Land ID No. 3468025; and
- Portion of Lot 604 on Deposited Plan 75090 Crown Land Certificate of Title Volume LR3162 Folio 901.
A copy of the business plan may be inspected at the Town of Port Hedland Civic Centre, 13 McGregor Street, Port Hedland and is also available at the Town managed libraries and available here.

Adoption Of Amendment To LPP/08 – Port Hedland International Airport and Rescinding Of LPP/10 – Highway Precinct Design Guidelines
Notice is hereby given that at the 29 November 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting the Town of Port Hedland (Town) adopted the amendment to LPP/08 – Port Hedland International Airport and the rescinded LPP/10 – Highway Precinct Design Guidelines.
The amended Policy is available to view at the Town’s Depot located at the Civic Centre at 4 Cajarina Rd, Wedgefield.
