Proposed Design Guidelines

Design Guidelines are planning documents designed to guide and improve the design and built form of areas within the Town.  Typically Design Guidelines are prepared to support the implementation of a structure plan for specific areas within the Town such as an activity centre but the could be prepared for the entire municipal area. Design Guidelines provide controls and guidance on elements such as building orientation, height, use of materials and colours and landscaping.
