A special story time session will be held at 10.30am on Thursday, 17 May at South Hedland Library with the South Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service.
Children will have the opportunity to hear from a member of the organisation as they read a story.
The Fire and Rescue Service will also bring along their fire truck, use a fire hose and turn on the truck’s lights and siren on for the children to see and hear.
This is a great opportunity for children to hear from an organisation which makes such a positive difference in the community.
The organisation will also discuss the value of volunteering.
