DFES advises of the following community alert:
ALL CLEAR with CAUTION: People in areas from De Grey to Whim Creek, including Port Hedland and South Hedland, are advised that the wind dangers have passed.
Please proceed with caution, the region is still expected to receive extreme weather including rain and wind over the next 48 hours.
Town of Port Hedland advises that:
The South Hedland Landfill remains open, and will continue on normal operating hours.
The JD Hardie Youth Zone will return to normal operations for this afternoons programming.
Wanangkura Stadium is currently running on normal hours, and 24 hours gym access will now resume.
Gratwick Aquatic Centre will remain closed until further notice, due to the continued weather conditions, and clean up requirements.
