Next Wednesday at 10.30am, Port Hedland Library will host a special Older Wiser Library Seniors (OWLS) session featuring special guest speaker, Hadyn Green.
This is the second OWLS session run by the Town’s Libraries, an initiative aimed at bringing together older Hedland residents to form connections and listen to special guest speakers.
Mr Green has an extensive background in crime and forensic investigation: he served in the Police Force for 39 years within general policing, traffic enforcement, legal advising, legislative reform, investigations and policy development.
Further, he has been awarded the Australian Police Medal in the 2010 Australia Day Honours List, the National Service Medal, the Western Australia Police Medal and the Overseas Service Medal.
He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Western Australia and Lecturer at Murdoch University.
Mr Green’s discussion will focus on “debunking CSI”, such as the common misconceptions of crime investigating prevalent in pop culture and world famous crime cases.

Please be advised that OWLS is free, open to the public and registration is not necessary.
