Construction of the nbn™ fixed line network has started in the Town of Port Hedland to connect more than 7,600 homes and businesses.
Over the next few months, locals can expect to see nbn contractors rolling out the network in parts of Port Hedland, South Hedland and Wedgefield. This will involve boring and digging trenches, as well as installing new pits, constructing cabinets, hauling, splicing and testing fibre cables.
For further information on when connection is scheduled for your address, visit the nbn™ websitewww.nbnco.com.au and use the address checker on the homepage or call 1800 687 626.
