South Hedland Landfill will be closed until Sunday 14th January for domestic users only due to flooding and safety concerns.
Residents with urgent requirement to dispose of waste may attend the landfill where skip bins have been placed in the front of the main gates for domestic waste material only.
This location will be manned by Town of Port Hedland Staff, who will be able to assist with the unloading of waste.
Further updates will be provided if the situation at the landfill changes.
