Nominations are now open for the 2018 Town of Port Hedland Sports Awards!
Do you know a Sporting Legend?
Maybe you've got an awesome coach, or maybe a team mate who goes above and beyond the call of duty. The Town of Port Hedland Sports Awards recognise the talent, ambition and sportsmanship of sports people and clubs from across Hedland. Categories of recognition include:
- Best Junior Athlete Female
- Best Junior Athlete Male
- Sportswoman of the Year
- Sportsman of the Year
- Official of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Club of the Year
These Awards recognise the tireless work of individuals who contribute their time and efforts to growing Hedland's sporting diversity and participation.
These awards align with the Town of Port Hedland's Strategic Community Plan 2018-2028, which outlines strategic responses to achieve:

- An inclusive and involved community
