The Towns public CCTV network was an initiative of the Community Safety Crime Prevention Committee which was put in place to enhance public safety and crime prevention within our community.

The network is used to provide local law enforcement with a tool to capture evidence that maybe used in the prosecution of those involved in criminal behaviour, graffiti, vandalism, assault and anti-social behaviour. It also allows the Town to achieve various social objectives by identifying risk groups and monitoring activities on local government reserves and property.
